OF MONSTERS AND MEN

This poster tells the story of the greed that whispers into the ears of men and tightens it’s grip around their souls. Making use of the overprinting technique to make four colors look like six, I also included texture on the body of the snake to give it depth as it wraps around the man. I’m generally judicious in my use of texture. For instance I don’t like to use it simply as an effect to be applied to make something look old. But in this case it added real depth to the piece and enhanced the story.
